Velvl Greene is Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at Ben Gurion University Medical School in Israel and directs the Lord Jakobovits Center for Jewish Medical Ethics. Prior to making Aliya in 1986 he served as Professor of Public health and Microbiology at the University of Minnesota for 27 years. He has published over 90 papers on a wide variety of medical issues and has lectured in universities and hospitals all over the world.
