Rabbi Joshua & Brocha Chana Metzger are the founders and directors of Chabad of Midtown Manhattan and its affiliate branches and organizations. Since 1996, Chabad of Midtown Manhattan conducts an array of charitable, social and educational programs and has six active branches in the Midtown area. Chabad of Midtown's flagship building at 509 Fifth Avenue is a popular destination for programs, services and events in the heart of Midtown. Together with their four children, they also host weekly gourmet Shabbat meals enjoyed by locals and thousands of international visitors year round.
Rabbi Metzger grew up in Brooklyn, NY before pursuing studies in Jewish thought and practice at Morristown Yeshiva, and received his rabbinical ordination in New York. Prior to moving to starting Chabad of Midtown, he founded the Chai Foundation - a Jewish public service and advertising agency.
